John Sullivan is an internationally award winning filmmaker in both documentaries and short fiction. His first film, The Buddha Hood, won Best Short at the 1999 Foyle Film Festival in Derry, Northern Ireland (an Academy Qualifying Festival). His second film, Farang Ba (Crazy White Foreigner), won the 2003 Banff Rockie Award for Best Documentary in Sport and is now available on Netflix. John is deeply interested in mysticism, alternative medicine, and surfing. A graduate of Hamilton College with a concentration in Sociology, he is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
